It is quite a good series...
Nothing too deep, but pretty fun, nonetheless.

If you are willing to let the obvious continuity errors slide by (Terminator 3 movie never happend), can ignore the glaring plot holes (like how the hell a headless terminator managed to find someone with a crash helmet on, kill that person, rip their head off, dress itself, attach the head with helmet on the correct way, then find its way to its own head. Oh and not forgetting how the terminators body remained unfond for almost 10 years) its ok. Its main saving grace is it has Summer Glau in it looking as hot as ever, Lena Headey (the queen in 300) also looks rather nice as Sarah Conner though there is some rather strange sexual chemistry between her and John,

It has a real danger of slipping into a teen angst drama where Johns main problem is that he has a zit on his nose and its the school dance, rather than an army of cyborgs out to kill him. Its worth watching the first couple of episodes though, I am only up to 3 so hoping its going to get better

Argh if it has potnetial to suffer from Buffy syndrome then I am going nowhere near it!

heh i've only seen the first ep and thought it was ok - nothing to write home about really - it does contradict annoyingly with the 3rd film though

still what with the writers strike in America there's not much else to watch really.

Well they ditched the school story line and its a better show for it. Certainly watchable if you can ignore the continuety errors the most annoying one being the time line. Which is criminal really as they started the series in the past then jumped to the future so no excuse for getting the date T2 took place in completly wrong (should of taken place May 12th 1995 yet the series writers seem to think it took place June 8th 1997)

T2 was in 1997 wasnt it? Somethign definately happened then

Possibly the date skynet was first turned on? With judgement day in 2001?

1997 was the date of the original Judgement Day from the first film, and when Sarah died in the Third

What I really want to know is how did John Connor send Kyle Reese back in time to look after his mum when Kyle was his dad, surely John would never of been born to send someone back to be his dad

And thus there has never been a time travel film that makes sense (With the possible exception of Time Cop!)

OK, any estimation, which i didnt have, would have gone down since the fact that the robot girl went from being flirty and chatty and confident to the episode that is on now where she doesnt have any social skills at all.
