Well I have had a productive couple of hours

Thanks to this little script http://kovaya.com/miscellany/2007/10/insert-coin.html all printers in office now say things like

Ready to Rock
Please Wash Hands
Push My Buttons
I Need a Hug
Kiss Me Quick
BRRRRR Its Cold
Error Code: THYMY
White Cartridge Empty

So far nobody has noticed, I am wondering how far I can go before I get sacked

If they sack people for trivial things like that then you might not want to work there!

Did that with some of our old HP printers a while ago, I believe I set them to display "INSERT COIN". Nobody seemed to notice though

Ah yes, I suspect you would need something more provocative like *BOMB ARMED* to get the desired reaction then.

We've done the white toner one before ^^

They're currently saying things like "Feed me a cat", and "Insert 50p".

Today was even more productive. Our Exchange server went down, normal problem out of disk space. The IT manager asked me if it was safe to delete log files, "Of course it is" I replied. Well bugger me turns out it isnt, who would of known that *whistles*

Anyway, wouldnt of been a total crisis if the backup server hadnt of broken. That had nothing to do with me though

Yeah still 5.5

I am sub-contracted there, 3 days a week and doing my proper job the remaining 2. So would rather not be doing the 3 days a week in London but no matter how hard I try to mess things up they only end up loving me more. Got offered full time position today, I gave them the normal "you wouldnt be able to afford me" reply which isnt being big headed its just uprooting from Norwich to London aint cheap and I would need to be paid more than what they are looking to pay for that sort of position. Well thats what I thought, but impressed enough to warrent a serious offer and relocation bonus. So now its a case of staying where I am and playing safe or taking a risk leaving everything I have behind (granted not much) and moving to London

And on the bright side, if they think you are doing a good job now, wait till you do the work properly!

If the first offer is good, try and get more, and then if you dont get it, you lost nothing!

London rocks if you can afford to live there!

Dont think I can afford to live there thats the problem. Dont think I could make the drop down from my own house to a 1 bedroom flat

Plus without wanting to cause any offence to people that visit here and live there, East London is a bit of a shit hole
