Reverse the grid so that the faster cars start at the back and make overtaking easier

So it will be like Nintendo and you'll be punished for being ahead of the others.
What if people are level on points?
And it would mean ideally you wouldnt want the most points come the final race, you would want the most points -1 so you could sit in front of the other car and slow him down

Example:
Penultimate Race, you are level on points ahead with the overall leader and in 5th place (4th is miles away) Coming up to the final laps the joint champ leader is one place behind you.
If you stay in the same positions you get 4 points he gets 3, putting you in the lead for the final race, but a place behind him on the grid. Or you can let him overtake you and you will be a point behind, but an extra place in front of him on the grid.

Ideally for the final place you want to be ahead on the grid
If you have a mechanical fault you lose championship anyway
If you have a bad start, if he is behind you on the grid he gets ahead of you and you have to overtake him, if he is ahead then he gets further ahead and you have to overtake a couple of fast rivals to get to him.



Although They are introducing the nitro boost (stolen from A1 GP)

the boost button sounds interesting but wont be in till next year

They should make it more like Mario Kart and give them mushrooms and bananas to throw. Now that would be something!!

Won't all the overtaking be done with in the first few laps, leaving the rest of the race to be the same as it is now?
Also, surely all the overtaking going on near the beginning will increase the likelihood of a fatal pile-up?
Way to make it more even... Just kill off all the good drivers...

i lvoe the idea, they did it in btcc and it did work well, althought they reveresed the two tens respectively
