Manchester United vs Liverpool

Okay, bias apart this is generally a huge game. I'm a Liverpool Fan but I'm not partizan - most of my family are Evertonian and my sister is a Manchester United fan.

Personally I think Liverpool will get battered unless Ronaldo gets abducted by aliens in the next couple of days.

I'm predicting a comfortable 3-1 win to the Mancs sadly.

Yeah, Torres should get one at least

But Man U will still hammer you, half thier players were rested against Bolton!

And sorry, but I hope you do, 3 more points Arsenal wont catch up

I bet it will probably just be a draw, everyone makes these out to be a super clash of great titans who will visciously tear one another to peices, when it'll probably just be another timid affiar where nobody commits and if one team were to get a lucky goal they would just defend like crazy until the final whistle.
I expect I'll probably be goaded into watching again however I won't be holding my breath for anything spectaular...

It's gotta' be a comfortable United win - On form and at home, can't see them losing.

As long as the end result is Arsenal further away from winning a trophy im happy

Don't care about Man U or Chelsea (Although Chavs winning owuld bring my prediction true from when they were about 9 points behind!)

Still don't understand your animosity towards Arsenal I myself really enjoy watching them, ok they can seem a little arrogant but I would much rather they win the league over the other teams. Liverpool is unlikely to win, even their greatest optimists have their limits, Chelsea's billion dollar team thankfully look unlikely to get it however most of all I personally would not like Manchester United to succeed.
I don't dislike them because of any rivalries, I think United are a very good team and enjoy many of their players skill, all but one of course. I just cannot bring myself to do it no matter how many goals he scores... Yeah it's Ronaldo - who dove against Derby at home when they were leading 3-1 to gain a penalty. That really says it all to me, then a couple of weeks later a referee books him for diving when he didn't and the manager acts all surprised. Ever heard the story about the boy who cried wolf?
Yes ok I admit other teams do have players who are prone to tripping over imaginary objects, but the sheer number of times he has been guilty (and I expect will be guilty) of doing this for and tricked the referee into making a bad decision is crazy. Not only that, but for Ferguson to turn a blind eye to all of these incidents and then go on react in the manner which he has been against the referees in recent games whether the foul was genuine or not (not in the case of the Portsmouth game) is blatant hyppocracy. So I do begin to wonder whether teams like this think that the rules should just simply not apply to them and why there should be a referee at all.
But yeah, anyway Manchester United will probably win on Sunday, Chelsea/Arsenal will draw, United will win the league and I as a result will be very dissapointed. It's a hard life.

Funnily enough, managers are backing video footage to be used to protect more 'skillful' playersagainst physical abuse. One could only hope it also applies to "aphysical" (is that a word?) abuse aswell.

Its the arrogance mainly, and the rivalry between the two north London clubs, plus the fans take every chance they get to mock the 'lesser' team of spurs. Its full of frenchies. They cheated to get into the first division at the expense of spurs.

And as for Diving, yes Ronaldo is a dirty cheat, but sometimes he plays amazing football. Show me a team that doesnt have a diving player in it though? For Spurs Zokora has always been a cheat in this respect, and now lately Huddlestone has started doing it as well

Well, it was eventful wasn't it?

Losing was overshadowed by the manner in which we did so. Ashamed of the conduct of Mascherano, I have for some time been annoyed by the petulance of modern footballers and agree that referees should not tolerate constant haranguing from players. He deserved to go and his behaviour after being dismissed was reprehensible.

Shambolic performance and a deserved and clinical win from the team at the other end of The East Lancs Road. Let's hope our paths don't meet in Moscow, there will be murder.

shouldn't have risen to the bait really but you could see it coming. got to give fergie props his gamesmanship is first rate.

Shocking booking and treatment of Torres didnt help but i dont think we would have even got a draw with 12 men yesterdasy.
