bah ebuyer - refunded me instead of sending out replacements - great so now i have to order the bits again and wait till the end of the week

oh well the saga continues - one day, hopefully this year, i'll have a new PC and it will pwn big time

well got the new hardware now - and it boots up! woot! though it took me ages to find a working SATA driver so i could install windows - now i'm realising i'd forgotten how long it takes to format a 250GB harddisk - maybe starting ti at 10pm was a bad idea considering i have to work tomorrow

all things being equal (which they are not) i'll have a working uber PC by this time tomorrow

didn't use quick format - that was probably the mistake i made then

oh well thats what i get for just pressing enter and not reading what it said
