| aha! if you drink something with a high alcohol content in it, it doesnt't freeze so you can put it in the freezer and it is cold. Take Jägermeister. Best served at -27 |

| Unfortunately drinking something that is at -27°C will cause slight freeze burns and temperature shock within your digestive tract. You could die from that ... on the other hand, more for me, so go ahead, please!

| I'd go into the laws of thermodynamics, etc. but I can't be bothered.

| hehe. my guess is that because it has a large amount of alcohol in it, it doesn't freeze therefore it is not actually that cold when you drink it even if it has been in a freezer at -18 for weeks. Never stuck a thermometer in it before I drunk it but I guess it never even reaches that temperature. Cheers! ![]() |

| Well, I can tell you this much - the temperature of something and the freezing point are separate issues. Just because something isn't frozen yet, doesn't mean it isn't that cold. I.e. Liquid Nitrogen still has -196°C even though it's not frozen.

| No idea... but I swear I drank it straight from the freezer from -18!!! Ice cream is pretty cold also and still not dead from eating that! Eat that as well from the freezer and freezy pops. Tongue goes a bit numb though. |

| of course also when you take it out of the freezer it warms up anyhow due to room temperature and all that so it is probably never ever that cold when you drink/eat it. Death by ice cream, imagine that? hehe |

| There is no such thing as °K - the Kelvin scale goes from 0 to infinity (as far as we know anyway, there may be an upper limit). So that would be 18K, not 18°K. |

| ||||||
| yeah i was aware of this, the -18°K was intentional

| prolly easier saying "serve ice cold" than saying "serve as cold as you can without causing internal damage to your digestive system" |

| Probably need a warning then too Just like the microwaves warning not to dry pets in them.... |
