I saw that projector at a Star Wars Expo here in Brussels, and yeah, it's great, but expensive. There was something else R2D2 shaped that I thought was cool, but I can't remember what it was ... oh yeah, a wireless webcam R2D2 that is fully remote controlled (Nikko Home Electronics).

As for the light saber school ... well, that doesn't really look all that different from our LARP group, though it's not quite as geeky. Besides, hitting people with swords is great fun ... though I wonder if they use the £100 light sabers to do that.

Those light sabers would be really easy to build, so why pay £100 for one?

I have heard of that R2-D2 projector, and it's suposed to be somewhat sub-par to what you would expect. It's suposed to be hard to stear, and the projector in it aint that great.

I thought every Jedi has to build thier own?

I'd build mine with some sort of gun attachment...
