cars under £1000 can be a bit hit and misss but the last two have lasted a combined 3.5 years, that's where the years MOT comes into it, short of outright engine failure a car with one years MOT is usually driveable for at least half that time

heh i need a car now and so don't really have time to save up, if my current car hadn't of died i would of course be saving for a better one

go on autotrader and find a beat up bmw 316 or something for under 500 quid, you can then sell drugs on the side to save for a new car.

well it seems that £400 buys you even less than i remember, so i'm still car-less - contemplating living without a car (at least for the short term)

does that make me crazy? or just poor?
