Yeah it was a good game though I think David James really needs to be replaced by a younger better keeper, his reactions looked slow, corners were awful and he's 38, surely there has to be somebody else able to take his place now.

After watching Stoke play Everton yesterday I wonder to myself... why don't all teams teach people to take throw ins like Rory Delap! The distance he could throw was ridiculous, not only that, the offside rule apparently doesn't even apply as the ball hasn't yet entered play!

Because people rarely score from Long throw ins, as long as they are defended properly.

The ball moves so slowly it really only is ever a threat if the defenders are not really expecting it or cock up.

I doubt he will get more than 1 or 2 goals more like that this season.
