Common misunderstanding there, Suishi is the actual rice, and then it can have a variety of toppings, including (but not limited to raw fish)

Its something that I keep meaning to try, but then when I build myself up to do it I see what it looks like and change my mind.

I really think it is perhaps just your imagination. Personally I don't really like the taste of cooked fish much, so the likes of sushi, lightly smoked salmon etc are far more appealing to me and I am yet to have any bad experiences so I really don't think it you should worry too much.

However if you had eaten this then perhaps you should worry about stomach pains...

Yes, was mainly rice but had slivers of raw fish on top, mainly salmon.
Also had some raw salmon eggs on it. Tasted great at the time.

My stomach is bubbling now and producing a strange gas.... I really hope that what goes down does not come back up again....

I have only myself to blame, I had a massive hunger pang and ate 1 kg, yes 1kg of sushi (Rice and raw fish mixed)

Well, after a few days of bother it seems to have stopped now. Don't think I will eat a whole kilo of it again. Serves me right for being a greedy guts.


I love Octopus, cooked of course! That is so cruel what they did. Imagine someone munching your head when you are still alive! Horrible! Inhumane! Poor baby octopus!
