I dont understand why they put it down?

If they released it to the sea it would have probably died anyway, b ut at least give it that fighting chance

Or sell it to Sea world

Apparently it kept trying to feed from boats and was slowly starving to death as it needed 250 litres of milk per day!

well, humpback whales are pretty big. That poor baby whale needed 250 litres of milk a day to stay alive and was only 3 weeks old. Had a few shark bites on it as well

Tooth, Megalodon

More evidence that the megalodon may exist? I mean they have found a giant squid!

Have you seen the pictures of the calf? Yes humback whales are big, the calf wasnt that big, if it had been bitten by a giant shark it wouldnt of stood a chance. Wikipedia has a rather handy picture of a Magelodon vs Baby Whale, maybe it was a baby Magelodon, they would probably be the same size as a normal shark

True, but whatever shark it was it ate the calf's mother
