err sorry - Halloween

if i wasn't going out i'd be thinking up ways of scaring off the theiving buggers

it's beyond me why people let thier kids roam the streets knocking on strangers door begging for sweets

anyone doing anything fun? like bear traps on the garden path?

I must admit, it never ceases to amaze me why parents spend all year trying to convince their kids not to talk to strangers, not to go to houses they don't know, not to take sweets from strangers etc...

then once a year they encourage them to do the bloody opposite...talk about mixed signals.

Not to mention the fact that these days trick or treating is pretty much a licence to behave in a manner that would earn most people an ASBO *shrugs*


In one of my previous homes, the bathroom overlooked the front door. Any persistent offenders would get the shower hose turned on...which nicely reached out of the window.
