Uch! Try mothers in law. The first birthday card she sent me was this woman standing on a mountain and it said "You're not over the hill. You're on top and admiring the view!" She meant it as a compliment. I WAS NINETEEN!

Uhm, maybe it was her subtle way of saying "Go get a job and support my child a bit better, you Bum! Can't even get her the odd box of chocolates or bunch of flowers, you cheap git! Here- buy her something for gawd's sake!!"

thats not nice, i bought her a bunch of roses yesterday because it was 10 years since her first dog died and for some reason she was still upset, but the roses cheered her up a bit. I bought her a locket necklace thing for her with that money and she always wears it with a little pic of me in one side and our dog in the other side. "Her boys" how cute......

So...YOU and her DOG are 'her boys'- and this is cute?
Oh boy. The fireworks we'd have in this house is Riv ever suggested that myself and the cat were 'His Girls'.
(and no, we don't need any funny comments involving alternative words for cat, thanks)

He didn't mean that, and he's very sorry. He should have been more specific. He wanted to extend his sympathy to your ladylove on the loss of her first dog a decade ago, and to say that it was jolly thoughtful of you to spend her mother's money on the lockety-thing. However, the 'dog & boyfriend' photo motif and "her boys" bit has made him feel a touch queasy. Just a touch, mind.

ISN'T THAT RIGHT DEAR?

Grrrr..... what is wrong with people nowadays? I was on a bus full of kids and this old lady comes on. Noone gives her a seat! Not even the adults!!!!!
Just like they stare when someone with a pram is struggling on and off as well! I helped this old lady get off the bus with her zimmerframe thingy, and half the bus just stood and stared like we were aliens

Maybe the bus you were on was full of hard liners in the euthenasia camp? If you can't use a bus without help then it's off to the doctor with the black hood... hey there's too many people and too much unemployment, maybe they think if they ignore a few more people then there will be a smaller population soon?

Last year some time there was a guy stabbed on a bus, people ignored his girlfriends screaming for help... eventually another passenger helped her carry her boyfriend from the bus and waited with he for the ambulance - he died, and I still believe that had some of the uncaring c**ts on that bus helped sooner he might at least have had a better chance of survival. but people live in thier own little coccooned worlds and sod anyone who isn't implicitly part of that little world. Perhaps its a sign that we should let the species die... launch all our nukes and hope for a reaction like in the Terminator books and films?

I apparently live in one of the best and most popular places to live in the UK. You can tell the people who vote these kind of things don't see the council estates and what goes on in them.
