We moved into a lovely new house, had the thermostats changed on all the radiators so we had control of the heat in the rooms..... and then the timer went kaplooey. If we want heat in the morning one of us has to get up an hour early to switch it on, and we always come home to a cold house. Because the plumber/electrician bloke is so busy we have now been waiting 2 weeks for him to replace the timer.

My old boiler had one of those wall time thingies that you could set the on off times just by twiddling a dial. It was dead easy.

The replacement (now 8 years old admittedly) has a stupid LCD timer that you have to feck about with and is a pain in the arse to alter even though I've done it plenty of times. And I lost the manual a while back. Technology is not always a good thing.

Bloody BT. Now that I've finally managed to extricate myself from OneTel's incompetent clutches and managed to actually order my new broadband service from them; I now find that it won't be connected till the BLOODY EIGHTEENTH OF DECEMBER! AAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

My pooter broke my washer/dryer wont dry my tumble dryers having a headache and we got up late this morning and now im stuck on the lag master here which daves confident will play WoW hes right it shouldnt have any trouble as long as we stay away from such heavily populated areas as oo say darnassuss

I haven't seen much of my boyfriend at all because he works hard all week and then weekends are consumed with drama, either:

My mum having a stroke and me having to go down to visit.
His mum having a heart scare and him going down.
His friend's teenage daughter running away from home and then telling the police her dad had been beating her up (which isn't true) and being put into care, meaning Fred had to go down and give him a shoulder to cry on.
Another of Fred's friends having cancer and being given three weeks to live.

And I get to spend a miserable Christmas with my dad and no Fred, because mum's in hospital and I have to cook Christmas dinner for him and do the visiting thing. I know it's my duty as only child but I'd much rather be home with PC, Sky, having a cosy Christmas dinner with my fella in front of Chronicles of Narnia.
I'm going to be bored shitless.

Yes it is so damn shitty. I had to turn the bloody boiler back on again at 5.40 this morning then again when I came home. The stupid little flame keeps going out which turns the boiler off completly!!! It is driving me nuts having to manually turn the bastard thing back on again! I hope it gets fixed soon.

The plug in the bath is crappy so the water constantly leaks out. Even if you plug around it with a flanel you are limited to 15 minutes by with time your bath is a 2" deep puddle.

I love my new house, but god damn!
