I don't feel well.
So I had a cookie to cheer myself up and now I have diet guilt too.

one cookie wont ruin a diet so no need to feel guilty about it a few years back i did a calorie controlled diet and lost loads of weight on it - the good thing about counting calories as opposed to other diets (for me anyway) is that if you really want to eat a mars bar at lunch time you can! as long as the rest of the day you stick to fruit and veg and less calories - all part of a happy balance

Diets suck. You tend to put more weight back on afterwards. My mum and gran ruined their metabolisms by dieting. It is a vicious circle if you ask me.... Counting calories is better, as Cherry suggests. If you deny yourself certain foods you will just crave them even more and end up on a binge. It is not worth it. We should all allow ourselves something nice now and again. To be honest I am sick of all these dumb womens magazines full of articles about sex and dieting! Women are not supposed to be stick thin!!!! Women are curvy!

I lost 3 stone the last time I was on this diet. I only put 7 pounds back on and that is what I am now trying to lose. And diets do work, as long as you exercise with them. Not all dets are boring either. I had cookie guilt because I had gone over my calorie limit. On tuesday on my diet I had ice cream and chips, and monday a huge curry. All within bounds. Dieting is about being sensible with food, not eating more than your body can process and burning off calories by keeping active.

Just because you are on a diet it doesnt mean you have to live off salad and water.

exactly Cen !!!! because the whole point of when you are losing weight is to find an eating style that you can stick to for the rest of your life - not just for a couple of months whilst you shed the pounds you sound to have found something that suits you really well and isnt boring either - yay!!!

i am often after shifting pounds from my tummy after having my son - but no way on earth do i ever want to look like the skeletal lolipop-headed models/celebraties that seem to be floating around so much these days. I love having curves and feeling sexy with them

YAY. I am happy also after putting 2 stone on from weighing 6 stone. It did not look attractive at all.

When the last two tic tacs get stuck in the packet, I just want to break down and cry. Preferably in a public place.

One of my candidates, who had accepted a job a couple of months ago, decided to accept a different job while he was awaiting his visa. So I look like a prat to the company who was originally hiring him, plus I lose my commission. Bloody!!!!
