I just spent several hours making lots of yummy looking cakes... and I am not allowed to eat them. It's so unfair..... never volunteer to bake for a friends birthday party. I WANNA CAKE!

Going to be having our water cut off for 72 hrs because our water plant has been flooded I've got some water in a bucket and some big bottles filled up. There's already been fighting in near by Tesco's and the police are monitoring the bigger stores as people do stupid things. Also might have our electrity cut off tonight.

At least my place isn't flooded so I'm very grateful for that but this is going to have a big knock on effect for so many things now. When our water gets reconnected there's a big chance it will be badly contaminated as well.

1. Straighteners stopped working on Saturday morning.
2. Can't live without them long enough to send them off to get fixed, because I have stupid hair.
3. Buy another pair of straighteners on Saturday afternoon
4. Buy some fuses on Monday, and out of interest, change the fuse in the straighteners' plug.
5. They work perfectly.
6. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I live in Cheltenham. I now have no running water but I put by 10 litres before it got back on Monday. I've also the bath filled up to flush the toilet with. There's no bread in most shops and when it is in its going off the shelves. I've got a bread maker though so alright there for now. Milk is rationed too, sadly heard on the radio that some farmers are in such trouble they might have to put their herd down. Thankfully where I am the electricity didn't go off but there's still more rain to come.
The closest water point to me is in the middle of my nearby shopping area, about 2 mins walk, but I live up 3 stories of stairs, so will grow muscles if I need to get more water. hehe. Which isn't so bad as the gym is closed just as I was getting into a routine as well. Sainsbury's near my boyfriend's mum's place (4 miles away) is giving water away, his family is away on holiday atm which is a good thing as his sister has 4 kids, one is a 4 month old baby.
Talking of babies, everyone is buying out babywipes to wash with, I got some travel gel to wash clothes in by hand. So we're hanging on in there, its only just begun really and the time they're telling us the water will take to go back on is going up so 7 days atm.

I am having one of those days.... a pair of kamakazee birds did a strafing run on me and luckily only got my shoes. I banged my head, and got a big hole in my tights. I am hoping thats it!

Today i received the news a friend and colleage passed away last evening. She was just 40 and leaves behind her dream come true, husband and little girl of 2yrs old. Just three weeks ago we were laughing, sitting on the balcony at work, having a sigarette. She looked completely healthy and was sure that the cancer she expected to be found was going to be easily removed. Now she's dead

I don't believe this, my birthday and the boyfriend decides to make today the day he has a couple of hours to himself and goes out. I asked him not to go cause it's very rude of him and up blows an argument ruining the day. Its already bad enough my parents and sister went to Florida yesterday for 2 weeks and again I get left out of the family holiday. Seriously pissed off.

Daves 30th tomorrow and moneys fairly tight so we were all going to go to whitby as weve never been and he wants to go but now ive just checked the wethe forecast and its due to chuck it down. So will have to think of something else and ive only got today to do it
