ARGH! The kids go back to school and within a week reinfected with head lice! I am going to buy one of those electric nit combs! Seems to be an epidemic lately, is is becoming really annoying

i worked 9hours and 15 mins for a company a few weeks back i left as the worked sucked truely awful atmosphere but ive still not been payed even though ive already been in to collect documents etc but i dont think they put me on the payroll as they just gave me back my p45 rather then issue a new one

I am getting really fed up now. We get rid of the lice only for the kids to go back and get them again from the school. I wish they would bring back the nit nurse. They also seem to be getting resistant to the pesticides so the only good way is to wet comb with conditioner every evening which takes hours..... Sure they are not a health hazard but they are annoying as hell.

The comb is great though, seems to work. I zapped myself with it removing hairs between the teeth! so it seems to do the trick. I haven't found any adult lice at all (touch wood) since the treatment only newly hatched nymphs and they seem to come out on the comb, have to repeat the treatment again this week.... joy!

Lenore, I really hope you get your money that really sucks. Did you call and ask them about it yet?

yup gave them all my details again and they said i would get paid but im not holding my breath.
As for the nits complain to the school have they sent letters out about it yet? if worse comes to the worse threaten to keep them off of school until the problems sorted.

Something funny I found.

I saw a big boss louse on my hair today, turned out it was beetle and I squished it between my fingers which was not a good idea as the top of my hair was covered in brown bits everywhere. I am getting paranoid now and seeing them everywhere! ARGGHHHHH!!!

As for the school... well they sent letters out but they got rid of their no nit policy as too many kids were missing school, I kept my two at home and treated them but some people just send their kids in and all they have to do is sign they treated them, don't need a letter from the doctor or anything saying they are clear so it keeps spreading... Really annoying and itchy!

Why are the student loans company such a bunch of idiots? I'm sure that you have to be a complete moron to work there! One day i'm getting my fees paid for the next im being told that i have until the end of the month to pay my own fees... Nice one for giving me some notice... Im hoping its just them being stupid.. Or im not going back for my final year.. grrrr...

You should get your fees paid miss southerner, considering I'm getting my resit year paid for with no queries, you should be getting your final year sorted easily.

But they are a complete load of wan...idiots, they knew my national insurance number, but still wrote out to say if I don't send out a payslip with it on, they'd not pay my loan, even though they quoted my national insurance number in full repeatedly during the phonecall >.>
