Oh gosh poor baby!

I'm so sorry you both are going to have to go through this. I cant even imagine to be honest.

I hope her recovery goes quickly!

My son has headlice and I spent the whole day washing everything at 60 degrees! 7 machines full in all! Plus we all have to douse ourselves in that smelly pernot shampoo! In 8 days check again with that lovely nit comby thingy and possibly treat again... just hope he doesn't get reinfected again!

My son often gets that from his school, answer to that is usually out with the clippers and shave to a grade 3. I've never bothered with getting lotions and such, I just use a comb and comb onto some paper everyday for a few days and with the above shaving it soon gets rid of it. Being warmer months its not too bad for them to have shorter hair anyway.

it has to be used on conditiond hair though my three havent had them yet "touch wood" but seeing as they both hate their hair beign brushed and they both have long hair its not going to be fun when they do

Yes the warmer months tend to be lousy... heh what a pun eh?
we got some lotions and his hair is cut pretty short but we treated all of us which is well as when I used one of those funny nitty gritty combs some where on there after my partner brushed his hair, so looks like we all are infected with the little critters.

We nuked them all by leaving that stuff on like the whole day and the tons of conditioner and that comb. They were falling out of my sons hair was really gross but that comb is pretty good, we have a similar one with long metal tongs. Will keep piling on the conditioner and combing through but hope the lotion has helped nuke the buggers too.

My son goes to Senior/Secondary school in September so hopefully be a little less of that. Wasn't too chuffed on spending over £200 on uniform items, blazer, tie, shoes and sports kit etc. Even with buying from the cheapest places for the basic essentials.

yes, being a slave to our hormones is not good! I always get hot and cold flushes with insomnia a week before my period is due!
Try valerian root herbal remedy, it does wonders

Yeah herbal remedies like that are great, much better than messing about with something that effects your hormones in a bad way. I tended to get migraines alot too, real bad ones with the auras and numbness first then the pounding head after. I used migraleve if I could afford it, otherwise it was nurofen and a quiet dark room. Not something you can do when your in the middle of a days work, which happened to me once. I had to walk to the chemist unable to see properly and just begged for something to kill the pain, my boss let me half about 30 mins to sit quietly before I was back on my feet serving customers with a pounding head.

You should be able to get Valerian root in tablet form as well though so you don't have to smell it!
