first bits good, boobs and such, didnt watch th second half tho, went out but my mate sad it just makes you feel bad and ask why the hell would you want to watch something like that,

same thing i asked when i got tricked into watching "just my luck" any film ith mcfly in should be destroyed on principle

I didnt think Hostel was that bad tbh. It was billed as a gorefest horror. To me it looked schlocky. I thought the revenge ending was good! Not nearly as bad as its been hyped out to be. Sure there are some eye-closing moments, but not nearly as bad as we were led to believe.

The end of Hostel was a bit bizarre. The revenge killing....I mean how did he know that that guy took part in the murders? He saw him on the train and in the club, but he didn't actually see him killing anyone or doing anything bad? was a bit of a spoof.

Nah, the guy who took revenge dropped that card in his blood after he murdered him. Was a bit of a paradox that part.

Ebs - I thought that at first, but if you watch it back, you'll see that he saw the Dutchman chopping up his friend's corpse when they were dragging him into the old factory.

I wasn't greatly impressed with it. It was a great concept, and the set up was quite interesting, but towards the end it just got ridiculous. Now I'm normally very squeamish with anything to do with eyes, but when the "custard" shot out of that girl's eye socket, I actually yelled "oh come ON!" at the telly.

The bit where he runs over the guy who lured him there and the two girls was just stupid, as was the bit with the feral children stoving in the bad guy's head.

Still, I was equally unimpressed with Cabin Fever.

You know what is really scary about hostel. When your in a movie theatre and there are two people that are laughing through all of the torture scenes. Now that is scary seriously. It shook me so much that I waited until they got outside so that I could see who they were, so that I would never meet them anywhere alone.

Went to see The Fountain last night. A bit tough to follow at times but it was interesting and it has some beautiful artsy type scenes in it. I'll probably go see it again, just to see if I can get any more of what it was about.

One to look out for next year... 300. Based on the Frank Miller graphic novels, looks fantastic.
