no it was basically a poorly presented report ....the essence of which was that regular exercise along with healthy eating/living would reduce the risk of breast cancer.....not exactly rocket science and a shame they spent so much money on the research. Poorly presented because they chose the "housework" exercise bit as being the key issue.....a 15 minute walk every day would have the same end result and would be a lot more enjoyable but the BBc chose to focus instead on the housework stuff. Credit due to the woman being interviewed when she said the same applied to men in reducing the rick for prostrate cancer.
Just shows how research can be twisted around by a bunch of morons claiming to be top quality journalists.

Or put your knickers on and go make me a cup of tea.

Edit

I once said that to a full on lesbian animal rights activist kind of half by mistake and she roared with laughter [and made me a cracking cup of tea]

But yes - joking aside - its the kind of SUN type journalism which is creeping into BBC reports in general

So basically, the report implies that only lazy sluts get breast cancer? Damn!

I've read the article again, and unless I missed something I don't think sluttiness has any bearing on breast cancer rates. Thank god!

I think it isn't true. They change their minds all the time. One time it was bras increasing the risk, then anti perspirants, truth is..... they really do not know what causes cancer.
