What are the most annoying things that people do that drive you nuts!

Here is a list of mine!

People who never listen to a word you say and ignore you so you have to repeat yourself 60 times!

People who flick the ash from their cigarettes all over the place

People who don't queue on buses and charge onto them like bulls

cycling where I live - if you go on the roads cars either try running you off the road or honk thier horns till you mount the pavement - where instantly as if from nowhere there is someone to say "get offf the pavement".

I'd rather have misserable gits moaning about my being on the pavement than get hit, bashed, barged or run over by a car again though.

Oh and sensationalising the news - that litvenko poisoning for instance... apparently its not enough that he was poisoned with radioactive poison, not enough that due to the rarity of the substance in the world at large it was obviously no accident, not enough that he died after days of agony... they have to use units of measurement that have no direct bearing to make it MORE sensational. They said in the documentary I saw online (the bbc one, was it panorama?) he had a dose of 4 BILLION bequerels of poison. But that isn't a quantity of substance (he recieved approximately 200 micrograms - still thasands of times the lethal dose - thats pretty sensational why not say that?), it's not even the unit used to talk about doses of radiation (rontogens) ... it's the number of radioactive decays per second ... Oh and they said that the hospital wrote down that he wasn't radioactive like it was thier fault - polonium 210 is an alpha emitter, so long as it was fully internal alpha particals would be absorbed by his body, and thus not show on a geiger counter (not only that most geiger counters by virtue of pricing have glass windows in them which don't allow alpha particals through anyway.)... Could they not have decided that the james bond plot was enough without having to use bizzare units to make it sound MORE dramatic? I'm supprised they didn't start using atomic mass units - he was dosed with trillions and trillions of those...

Another point in the sensationalising tv does is this thing being advertised on uktv at the moment. It says something like as we approach the final chapter its time to look back at earths history now i know global warming is pretty bad but still i dont think were as doomed as all that just now its tv to scare people and it pisses me off

People who are cowards. They bitch about you behind your back and to your face they are nice and friendly.... sickening.

People who dramatise every little thing in their life because they don't have much else to talk about. Like the slightest argument is made to be bigger.

Those who think in order to get their point across they are allowed to humiliate and redicule the other person. Often it's the holier than thou types who think they are right and anyone who's opinion is different from their's is obviously wrong and either a very bad person, a moron, ignorant or something else. So generally people who don't accept others might have a different view and leave it at that.

Teachers or those that work with kids which can't differentiate when they are talking to an adult compared to a child and use the same condencending tone of voice.

Standing in a queue waiting to be served when the person behind the till is having some conversation with the other person who's finished paying for their stuff. And you only want to buy one thing.

Egocentric narcissitic a Holes:-
People who talk about themselves constantly non stop in a conversation and turn it around to a conversation about their own lives. Whenever you say something like "oh yea this friend of mine broke their leg" they jump in with the time they broke their leg and how it was 100% more worse and give you the "oh my life is so much worse than anyone else's B shit"

When i used to table top RP more many years in the past. There was this one guy who used to always turn any conversation around to Rping, no matter where we were or what we were doing. No matter how hard several of us tried to steer the conversation away from RP it would never stay that way.

More an irritation though, than something that really annoys me.



Something that really annoys me would be like when i once saw a woman in a supermarket moaning loudly because they didnt have her usual bread type. I thought to myself does it really matter, she should go some country where their supermarkets are bare.
I was biased though as i had just come back from Bosnia in 94/95 when it was all a mess.

I hate it when you have to use a public loo for the call of nature, which is gross in itself and then the toilet paper runs out! Is a real pain!

Or there is no soap in the dispenser to wash your hands with afterwards!!!

When buses are late then turn up in two's

When buses are packed with school kids who don't give their seats up to elderly people and decide to throw stuff around!

Going on holiday and the people moaning "Are we there yet?"

What drives me really crazy to the point that the big vein on my temple starts to pulse, is when I arrange an event in UO, put it on our events board, ICQ everyone as well, then log in and get several messages on party chat asking "is there anything on tonight?" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGH!
