I've got a week's leave, after only having four odd days off since March, and no proper leave for months, due to using it all to clear the old house for moving.
Tomorrow the dentist makes a start on my nice new crowns too!

I love my daughter more and more as each day passes, as if thats possible! I couldnt ask for a more content, calm and beautiful daughter honestly. Today was her "Blessing" in church (which is like, the equivalent *to me* as like a christening) and she was easily the best behaved baby in the place! Her daddy's mom has been in town for the past 4 days from out of state, and she goes home tomorrow! I know that shouldnt be a "life is good" sort of thing, and really shes lovely to me and Alex, but I hate having to dance around other peoples schedules, and trying to please everyone and all that! So finally, after 2 solid weeks since Ive had her, Ill have an actual break and be able to just settle in to a routine!

Me is all bubbly happy too today ! In about 2 hrs ill be on my way to my vacation adress with the kids for a relaxed and fun holiday with the kids. The packing stress is gone, the kids are all bouncy and ready to go. woohoo im so proud i could arrange this for them !

I gave my daughter her first bath bath today.. The funny bit is I set up the camcorder to record it, on the tripod..

So I set the bath water up, put in her little bath lounger seat thing for her to lay in, and I bring her in.. I call for her daddy to come in and help me as I was trying to get her diaper off...

Meanwhile I had pressed record.. Im holding her, and hes trying to remove her diaper, and right then she starts to pee! Though her diaper was on enough so that it didnt go anywhere it wasnt suppose to.. Mind you we are off camera and out of the shot, and we're like OMG shes peeing! And we're just chattering about it.. Then..... She passes gas extremely loudly, and proceeds to poop! Breastfed babies have like a mustard yellow seedy loose kind of poop, and so we were laughing and he describes it as chunky...

My poor daughter, down the line, someone is going to see this video.. That isnt her parents or grandparents... Its so cute that I have her first embarassment sort of video!

A dear friend of mine was released from hospital today after undergowing a bone marrow transplant to help cure him of a rare lymphoma.

Its still very early days yet obviously, and he's still having to go back to get treatment and checkups every day, but to say its a huge weight off my mind would be an understatement!

So a very happy Wenchie today
