but surely as she states one reason for women not wanting to feed is having to face other people negative reactions. Surely it would be better to tell teh people who have these negative reactions to stop being so bloody stupid and get over themselves rather then stick a few chairs in where upon you will have a que of hungry babies waiting for free chairs on which to be fed screeching their heads off or risk offending busybodys

That is just it though. You cannot force your opinions upon other people. Especially in public places. I don't particulary like though seeing overweight girls in short skirts with all their flab hanging out. I find that much worse than a woman naturally feeding their child which is as nature planned, but they can let it all hang out!

EEEeewww... Reminds me of the sunday roast with the string wrapped around it and the meat hanging out. Blurgh!

Sometimes life is simply unfair, especially in a patriarchy. Now don't get me started on that one hehe.

I am reading a brilliant book at the moment about the female brain, and it goes on about breastfeeding oxytocin and bonding etc...

I just had a thought. Maybe this is why men find womens breast so attractive and want to touch them? Maybe subconsciously this makes them bond more? just an idea...
