Pretty awesome stuff. I might be treading on some toes to any here who believe about religion or such (or you might not give a damn either hehe I dunno), but still it's a pretty thought provoking thing so...yeah. I'll blather on about it a bit.

Didn't like certain bits of the first part about the historical stories - some of them were out of context, the ones about Christ the most I think. I studied quite a bit of history and know that, for example, that part about "christian god being same to Jupiter" passage was in fact made more as a refference to please the romans at the time. Christianity was not the national religion so they wanted to say "Hey...it's okay. I mean, we call it Christianity, you have your old roman gods based on the greek gods...it's all the same thing right? There's no need to persecute us." That's what it was saying more than "We were just copying something from the Egyptians." Also very likely that Christ didn't exist? At the time that it was happening his followers were considered an occult, hence why no historians could pick them up so it is perfectly possible that the historians mostly missed them - after all they were just one of many different "messiah cults" that happened at the time. They just happened to succeed and be better organized about it to produce a legacy. And the Roman council did in fact happen to control the masses, yes. But no, it didn't create his history so much as edit it. There are still scrolls existing that simply did not make it into the Bible because that roman council on that day deemed them inapporpriate. So yeah...those parts I didn't like that much...as I said their context could definately have been put a lot lot better. But I loved the whole "Ages" bit...hmm...I remember high school where there was an awesome proffesor who told us all about amazing drawings, incredible coincidences that ancient civilizations around and before the time of Egyptians had discovered...I'm really curious as hell as to how many of these there are.

And the latest stuff is of course quite awesome indeed. The dots that the movie layed out were pretty much what I had believed before, the movie however did connect them quite nicely. Would need to check up on some of it too I guess but still...pretty powerful, pretty convincing and pretty believable towards the end, whereas the historical parts were somewhat out of context I believe...but still fairly accurate nonetheless.

And I just love this final line in their "Statement" section of the website: "That being said, It is my hope that people will not take what is said in the film as the truth, but find out for themselves, for truth is not told, it is realized."

Thanks for the link. Never saw this before.

Thanks for the link, indeed.
This movie pretty much exactly visualizes my point of view and underlines various suspicions and/or conclusions I had made up in my own head with the bits of information and facts I had come across so far.

Finally pulled my self to watch it and indeed it was the most interesting thing I've seen this year. I've allways believed in the mass bullshit coming from america but this is like putting it on a public wall with frame and all.

*gasp*

Thanks.
