I am writing this to document a few concerns that have presented themselves today during the lashing of Iglata.

I am fairly sure that there are several elves that have talked about assassinating Mr. Iglata upon his release. Amoung these elves are Elion and Muegen. I have happened upon them when they are making plans and Iljian has actually listened in on some. I have talked to Miguen and he has assured me that they will not take action inside of Trinsic and I believe him but there are others that might not be so patient. My main concern is a guard risking his life to protect the life of Iglata until he gets out of town. Is he really worth it?

My other concern is with the justice system itself. I was not in attendance at the trial but why is he only receiving 45 lashes and three days labor? How serious of an offense would a person have to commit before they received something more severe?

I would like to schedule a meeting with someone in authority that can tell me how the system works. I am new here and this just does not seem right to me. I should be available anytime for this meeting anytime in the next few days.
