To the esteemed Stewan Seagull,

I wish to thank you for the efforts you've put forth on my behalf in preparing food for the reception originally scheduled for Monday, February 19.

At this time, I find it necessary to cancel this event, and will not be in need of the refreshements placed on order.

As I know that such grand fare takes time and resources to prepare, I would ask that any food already prepared be donated to a worthy charity of your choosing. The remaining funds, please hold as a retainer to be put against our need for your services at a later date.

Stewan Seagull

Stewan is powdered with flour, his apron is smeared with various smeary ingredients, his hair in disarray when the messenger arrives.
He tosses the boy a coin and gets to reading. Slowly his finger traces the the lines, his lips mouthing the words silently.

His face turns sad as the meaning of the message becomes clearer, his eyes roaming the shelves with the ordered foods and drinks.

Putting the letter down on the reception desk he takes a deep breath, and starts to end his interrupted task slowly and carefully.

He then sits and starts to write:

"Dere Miss Kestrel,

I´m sad to hear things are not developing to your liking.

I will do as you proposed and give away what can not be kept, hoping you will commision my services again at a later date.

Humbly yours,

Stewan Seagull"

He shoots his employee a glance, saying:

"Raph, take care of things for a while, will you?"

And sets off for a bit of hunting.
