Boogoose

It was after the joint training session with the Kaldorians and miscellaneous defenders of Trinsic, and the Marksmen were taking a well-earned break in the Trinsic Rose. I joined them after chasing a lone Vesperian away from Trinsic, I thought it prudent to suggest to the men that either a barricade or a bunker should be built at the west gate. As we were unable to decide which to construct, it seemed obvious that a combination of the two should be attempted. And so began the construction of the first Bunkerricade.

There was some debate as to the shape this new and strange creature should take. Some suggested short and fat, some said that it should be in the shape of a giant wicker man, but long and thin seemed to be the best way to go.


The Bunkerricade nears completion and is about to meet its destiny.

The Marksmen had worked hard, hard work that was not appreciated by the enemies of Trinsic, as they failed to show their filthy faces. Perhaps word had spread, like so many diseases, around the various towns that called themselves rebels, word of this new Bunkerricade and what it could mean for the course of the hostilities. Perhaps the rebel army was busy attending a wedding, perhaps a wedding of two cousins. Whatever their reasons, no rebels attended the opening of the wonderful Bunkerricade, and it fell to the Marksmen to test their own bastard creature of science and imagination. These tests proved inconclusive.
