I fear this is the work of the legendary Leviathan, we thought the beast was killed two hundred years ago, but it has returned to seek revenge on Trinsic, few ships dare to land at Trinsic now, first it was the crime on the docks now it is the Leviathan.
I hope to speak with the Duke soon reguarding this matter, without a sea trade route Trinsic could suffer severe financial losses.

Devante cursed out loud, a hundred thosand gold worth of gems lost at the bottom of the sea, not to mention several good trustworthy sailors, they would be hard to replace, honest sailors are not often found in the shades.
"I'll kill this fish if it's the last thing i do !" Devante muttered looking to Felix on the other side of the desk.
"It's not exactly a fish" replied Felix
"Whatever it is, we've never encounted a beast we've not been able to slay, Felix, The Beast Must Die !"

Felix looked at him with a raised brow. Never underestimate your enemy!
I thought you had learned that by now. This beast is huge...

According to sailor's tales it brings a wave up to the crows nest of a ship, when the ship rolls it dives. Then it attacks from deep and uses it's tentacles to catch each drowning sailor one at the time.
It seems like a good strategy for a deep sea critter, which explains why we see so little of em. Yet we should only anger a beast like that if we have enough backup...

Felix looked back into his eyes again, waiting for Devante's eyes to respond. He looked like everywhere exept mine.. Perhaps I scared him, perhaps I shouldn't have told him about a beast beyond out abilities. Perhaps I was wrong..

Hunt Objective :
Kill the Leviathan !

Location :
Trinsic Shades, Dock Area and Sea

Attending :
Devante Stirling, Felix Kendall, Lydia Sylver, Gordon Acker, Mckenzie, Gwen Irima, The Honorable Lord Taggart

Notes :
The plan was for a few of the more experienced hunters to sail out to the deep water, and using a fishing net specially coated to attract deep sea creatures, Lure the Leviathan to the shore where the rest of the hunting party would be waiting. This proved to work well.
Some other beasts were also lured along and the crew of the ship were able to quickly and safely make it to land, this is when the battle with the beast started. There were at first some injuries, this was mostly due to the poison spit from the leviathan, but the party were soon able to organise themselves, whilst the archers fired shot after shot at the beast, and Gordon launched his explosives from his new experimental crossbow. Lord Taggart (the slayer of the most evil Blackthorn) charged forward at the beast, but was unable to connect.
A piercing wail screamed out as the Leviathan died and collapsed on the shore of Trinsic, the Party celebrated, and the seas of Trinsic were once again safe.....

Although some claimed later that this may have only been the child Leviathan, and that the mother is still out there..... waiting.
