Well look at it this way - with a 256mb card [hope you got one on your new pc] you should be able to run stuff much much faster.

And if I was buying a new PC I would seriously be considering a Dell off the shelf PC and just putting in a 256mb card - cost should be about £300-£400 + VAT or so.

I've gone with Mesh, got an intel quad core 2.4ghz, with 4gb ram and a 256mb nvidia geforce8600gt card, not top of the range but it will do, oh and some fancy aluminium case with some fancy cooling pipes. I stuck with XP since i'm still not convinced by Vista, came to around £550

Wednesday 28th is supposed to be royal training day hosted by Trinsic with LB and Skara Brae, however, I obviously won't be able to run it. Any volunteers to do this for me ? or should i just cancel it ?

I don't remember when I last bought a pc, my laptop I have had for about 3 years, but it will still be used. The PC I think is at least 5 years old.
