i was greatly disappointed... (mostly because of all the fuss that is being made... fireworks, shouting, whistling and more things alike. Shees ! it was as if they had won the big finale !)

yet... I do have to agree that they played a very good game. Didn't see our team play like that for a looooong time.

Spain 4-1 against Russia

Sweden 2-0 against Greece

Good games to

David Villa are the king of Spain but the work of Fernando Torres that led to the first goal was great. Hat trick by Villa though.


Zlatans first goal in the national team in three years Swedens second goal by Petter Hansson was kinda weird. He got in in by pure will.

It's gotta' be Holland or Spain to win. France have lost their Va va voom.. Portugal are good on paper, but I found them dissapointing and seriously lacking a decent striker. Who else, Germany! Germany are a good team, but I don't think they have the same depth in quality as Spain or Holland.. That's what I think based on the first games of the event!

Was a great win for Holland. France played better this time but not good enough. I still think it will be either Holland or Spain that will take the title.

Wait with anticipation for the Sweden - Spain match. The moment of truth for Sweden. To see how we compare to the better teams as Greece was kinda pale.

I know we can beat Spain as we did so with two goals against none in the first qualifier match between the teams. But then in the next game they beat us with three goals against none.

I think Sweden will make it through the group stage no matter if we win or loose though.
