Myself and Aryala had a discussion regarding Umbra's future, as it isn't so bright as we'd hoped it would be. We've been pondering on what to do with it all, my time in UO is almost up. In roughly 20 days I'm packing my bags and leaving. So without further delay, we're shutting down Umbra. It's been a rough 4 years.

During my time as GM in Umbra very few stayed behind after we struggled in ERPA. Even few would stay when we opened up again, hoping we had a new future ahead of ourselves when ERPA was disbanded. There's a lot of people I'd like to blame for some of the things that happened during that time but I'm so tired, I can't be arsed to be angry or upset over a game.

I talk to Saktoth from time to time, I sort of understand him better now than I did a few years ago. As Saktoth was the true mastermind behind what was Umbra but what was changed so many times over and over again. Cheers mate, I hate to admit it but I've learned more being GM of Umbra than I ever will in a classroom.

I'd like to thank Aryala especially for staying with me for such a long time, personally I wouldn't put up with myself for so long. I don't know how you found the strength to.

Also I'd like to apologize, after so many battles fought behind closed doors I just didn't have the strength anymore. I'm sorry Umbra wasn't there those times, I'm sorry nothing really happened those events and finally I'm sorry those scenarios never came true. I've said it countless times and I'll say it again, I was so tired and I still am.

p.s. No tavern next week. However tomorrow (18th March 2007) we'll be at the University for those that's been playing the Ilsh game. The game will continue if people want to keep playing for a few weeks more.
