Lovely Hordies of Defias:

At present we be taking in: Healers, who like to and will heal happily. Primarily Resto shamans, druids and holy Paladins. We dont really want however, people who'll heal for a bit then spec change next. You have to like healing and WILL stick to it. We are also looking for some Rogues and Warlocks, all above, should be looking at raiding also.


Below is our post for recruitment, to give you some idea of what our guild's about.

As a rule, we Libertines like to keep things small, and intimate. We're slow to recruit as we're tight-knit and mostly know each other from some time ago - and we like to take care of our own little nest of screwballs, arena junkies, raid whores, heroic farmers and our nubcakes-in-training slowly, and look after each other as much as we can.

Before you read the below, I'll save you some trouble - we just don't have a lot of support for levelling people and so we do not encourage applications from people lower than, say, 65. Just being honest, we're mostly 70s and alts of 70s, other than a handful of Xqanoth's minions that happen to be levelling up. <_<

What we want, if Santacraft were to grant us the ideal recruit:

1) Lvl 67-70. If you also happen to be damn good at what you do, we wub you. As it stands today, we aim for for willing, mature, easygoing and able players(geared as appropriate, you won't be allowed in Gruul's in greens, to be blunt) for Kara, Gruul's Lair, arenas, premades and 5-mans including heroics.

2) You absolutely and without fail respect that this is an RP-PVP server and respect the rules accordingly. This means - at the very minimum - you are IC in says and yells, in public. Our guildchat is VERY ooc, but in says and yells our members are IC with each other even in instances, though this isn't so much because we're hardcore as we just find it funnier to do it that way and it helps kill time between summons/buff ups/breaks. Roleplay is encouraged and we have several people in the Libertines that are exceptionally good at it.

3)You are not easily offended by perverse and silly guildchat/vent conversations/deliberate wipes because we're in a "let's fuck this up" mood. You ALSO understand however that there's a time and place for it - and when it comes to raiding, to leave the yapping aside and leave the channels clean so we can focus on the job at hand.

4)You are mature enough to manage your own behaviour in-game and with your guildmates. We don't go by age - we go by the person, and as such we have members from 17 to their 30s. Stormspire Libertines operates with VERY FEW rules; we don't use DKP because we don't need it. We expect you to manage yourself, and the choices you make in this game regarding your attitude towards others, loot, pvp, ganking, corpsecamping, and so forth.

5)You are willing and wanting to be active, raid, pvp, run instances, etc. At present we usually do Kara overnight as we're pretty casual, and Gruul's lair on Sundays. So - if you're geared for Gruul, potentially 2-3 nights a week are available to you depending on turnout but we do not MAKE anyone raid, just to be clear. However the point of growth (usually) is for bolstering our end-game ranks, so this is in part expected of you. However we will never recruit someone only for raiding, no matter how good you are, because its about WHO you are first, not what.

6)You are not allergic to addons and comms as the following are basically required to raid with us: Vent (for our own runs), Teamspeak , CT_Raid, BigWigs (advised for Gruul's Lair in particular) and KTM Threat meters or Omen. Anything beyond that is really up to you but we really want to know that you are up and running on at least these little gems.

7)Its a bonus if you also enjoy pvp - arenas, premades, etc. This is NOT A "RAIDING" GUILD. We pride ourselves on being a hybrid guild, encouraging emphasis on all aspects of the game. We do raid a lot at present to help our people gear up and gain knowledge of the present end-game content available to them.

What you get in return:

1) A small, tight-knit guild of good people. We've got our loveable nubs like most guilds, (people have to start somewhere), but the core of the Libertines are experienced and well-geared players that do their job well and have been doing it a long time. We're a bit of a mix - a few are more RP oriented, some are quite serious about arenas. Some guide our pve endgame and others still are quite happy to hang out, group on occasion and just happily go along with whatever's happening. Some gank with abandon, some rarely engage the opponent - that's all up to you but understand that as a pvp server, we leave it to you to decide if you're going to be a carebear, a ganking bastard or something in between.

2)Shiny stuff, fast, for the right player. A good player with a good attitude will find they will have a lot available to them, but in a laid-back atmosphere. We're not hardcore but when we do raid, we expect it to be done right. If your game or gear is a bit lacking, but you're willing to bring it up - we're there to help as needed, because - to be blunt - we need you to be good. For the deserving person - epics are there and they come swiftly.

3)A place for keeps - as we're not in a hurry to grow, but will look out for decent potential.

4)We want you to play, but we also want you to enjoy yourself, and hope that new friendships develop with new members just as this guild was founded on old ones. As a rule we're pretty happy campers and just founded the Libs so we could enjoy the game our own way, under the IC banner of a liberated, mercenary, gold-digging band of freaks.
