A few leaflets blow along the street. You bend down, and pick one up, and read a note in quite plain, neat print. In fact, if such a thing was possible, you'd say that everything about the note screamed 'polite'. Actually, not screaming polite, just saying it. Politely. After you finished speaking. If you don't mind? Thank you.

The note reads:

"To Whom it May Concern,

It has come to my attention that with Muldran Skully currently missing (or incarcerated in the Armoury, just outside Trinsic) that the Shadow Court should get things in order.

We need assistance to recover the missing black box, that according to witnesses was blasted 'out of Trinsic' by Muldran's magic conflicting with the magical warding around the sandstone city.

With the assistance of an investigative reporter, and a slightly dodgy wizard, I have ascertained that the trajectory of the box has put it on course for the facet of Ilshenar. Where in Ilshenar exactly is a mystery, but it is suspected that it has gone to places where 'magic is in confluence'. Whatever what means.

I would like to ask all of the Shadow Court - and anyone else interested in recovering this most dangerous artefact - to gather by the Trinsic Moongate, Trammel Side at 8pm GMT on Tuesday 13th February.

This may be dangerous - but we cannot afford to let the box fall into the wrong hands; especially if Muldran's rantings are true, about the infection that may be spreading from the box...
