| Senior Member | The Sosarian Olympic Games ![]() Sunday 23rd - Sunday 30th Vesper is set to host the first of many Olympic Games in Sosaria. People from all over the world are invited to take part in the games for the week-long event where it'll show that despite we're living in a world of war and conflict, we can put differences aside and have some harmless competitive fun. So this is a formal invitation from the Baron of Vesper himself, asking you to join us, and importantly - have fun. The only rule for you to take part in the Olympics is that you must be part of a 3-man team at least. Anymore then three in your team is allowed, any less and you wont be entered to take part. All members are allowed to take part in the games, as a team - or alone. The more of you that take part, the more chance of winning the high score and gaining the star prize for winning the Olympics. The prizes for individual competitions are as follow; 1st place - Gold Sash and 100,000 gold. 2nd place - Silver Sash and 50,000 gold. 3rd place - Bronze Sash and 25,000gold. The overall winning team of the Olympics will win the following; A Golden Sword and 1,000,000 gold. What Games Are There? There will be a total of ten games available for people to take part in, all of which have fantastic prizes to win. Boxing Triathlon Relay Darts Archery Jousting Summoning Duels Cow Tipping Bagball Last Man Standing Tournament The opening ceremony will begin on Sunday the 23rd of March at 8pm. If you're team wishes to compete, you must turn up to the ceremony and put your team, and idividuals names down. You must also have your own team colour, and stay true to this colour throughout the week. If you want any chance in winning the grand prize, it's suggested you take part in ALL events to stand a chance. Results that will effect the overall leaderboard will be based on what medals you team wins. Winning a gold will give your team three points, silver will give two and Bronze gives one. So the more competitors you have from your team, the better chance you have to win! Simple as!

![]() | Bagball Rules Bagball is on Wednesday 26th at 8pm. Bagball Rules: Each game pits two teams of 3 members each against each other. Both teams start on opposite sides of the bagball field near their respective goals. The bagball is placed in the center of the field, and a referee stands nearby. The referee counts “one,” “two,” “three.” On “three” play begins and all participants race toward the center in an attempt to be the first to control the bagball. Players grab and drag the bagball around the field as they attempt to throw the bag into opposition’s goal. The team that doesn’t have control of the bagball may attempt to grab and gain control of it at any point. The referee will signal goals, the end of the first half, and the end of the game. Most bagball games typically are split into two 10 to 20 minute halves with a 3 to 5 minute interval at halftime. The referee will also signal the end of the game and declare the winning team. At the end of the match, the team with the most goals wins the match. In the event of scores being tied at the end of the game, a Golden Goal situation will occur, resulting in the next team to score being named the winner. Moving the bagball: The primary method is: stand next to it, lift it, drop it on the other side of you, and run past it to repeat the “lift, drop, move” process. The bagball should only be passed by placing it on the ground for another player (on either team) to grab. Scoring a goal: This is a two part process: the bagball must first be thrown onto the opposition’s goal line and then into the goal itself. No goal will count as official until the referee announces it as such. After each goal, the bagball is returned to the center of the field and each team moves to their own starting positions. Play resumes at the signal of the referee. The team that scores the goal receives 1 point. The team that scores the most points by the end of the game wins. Optionally, the team that first scores 5 points is declared the winner. All decisions of the referee are final. Criminal behavior: No player at any time should be flagged a criminal for any reason. Bagball may be a competitive sport but it is based purely on playing skill alone. Attacks: Any participant that attacks any opposing team member or spectator will disqualify her whole team, and the opposing team will win the game by default. Outside interference: Interference from spectators is not allowed, and any such interference may compel the referee to stop the game.
